Today: Grace Forever
"And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23: 6
Does God really love us forever?
When does God’s love say: "Enough!"?
Where do I cross the line when God says: "That’s it!"?
Often we think God can’t love us anymore when our Christian life is a battle.
We have battles because we have an enemy. He’ll come at you with guilt and condemnation ruthlessly. "What’s the point? I don’t deserve to ask for forgiveness again."
Question: Who told you that you deserved forgiveness the first time? If your sin was too great for His grace then, He never would have saved you in the first place. Is there any reason to think that the One who received you as you were the first time won’t receive you every time?
Sin and struggle is part of our walk, sadly. Romans 7: 15-19
When a person becomes a Christian the enemy fears him or her for what they might become, so of course he attacks. But the One who saved us, Jesus, is there to save us still. Your name doesn’t disappear and reappear in the Book of Life according to your moods and actions.
God’s grace says: "I love you forever!" Romans 8: 1
If Christ is your Saviour

- You are free from condemnation. Romans 8: 1
- You have been placed in Christ by God’s doing 1 Corinthians 1: 30
- You have received the Spirit of God into your life so that you might know the things freely given to you by God. 1 Corinthians 2: 12
- You have been given the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2: 16
- You have been bought with a price. You are not your own. You belong to God. 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20
- You are a child of God. Romans 8: 16-17
Can anything separate us from God’s love? Romans 8: 38-39
